I think business sales are more driven by Festivals in India, so a feature like Festival Master can really help B2C & B2B businesses to make future decisions easily.
Festival Master can have following parts:
1) Sales Calendar: Where we can define the Sales Period of any festival and tag them for that Festival("Diwali Sales 2020). For example, lets say for Diwali 2020, which is on Nov14 2020, we can define the Sales Period as Oct15-20 to Nov 15-20. & Simultaneously we can see the historical data by creating a Date range for Similar festivals in Previous years and hence derive a comparative analysis.
2) Purchase Calendar: For every Sales, Purchases have to be made, so to prepare the Buying Plan effectively, we can create similar Purchase calendar for every festivals and tag them for that particular year("Diwali Purchase 2020"), and do a comparative analysis.
3) Analytical Reports: We can have various Analytical reports, Festival-wise, which will help us to make a robust festival planning from all spheres.
I guess a Beta Model on this can be thought of and worked on.
