RPOS6: Update 'Rejected Quantity' Goods With Ease During Purchase Entry!

Have you faced the challenge of not knowing an item's quality when it was delivered to you in bulk only to find later they are fit to be rejected? Or what if there was a shortage in the items delivered and you fed the wrong quantity into Purchase? Only if there was a magical solution to register the number of goods rejected in such instances. Yes, there is a solution. RPOS 6 users can now handle all these situations with just a click!

Introducing the 'Rejected Quantity' column in the RPOS 6 version of RetaiEasy. We are happy to give you the power of the 'Purchase - Return' process discipline by knowing the quality and wastage of your items. This way, you can register the quantity of rejected items at the time of purchase to make time-sensitive decisions of whether you wish to 'Reuse' or 'Return' them.

For example, imagine you're receiving 100 kg of apples early at 5 AM. Out of the 100 kg, 10 kg of apples are very low in quality. Your delivery staff cannot decide to return them, but your supervisor is not available at the early hour to make that decision. So, what do you do if you have to make a 'Purchase entry' during this situation? The answer is simple now.

Addition of 'Rejected Qty' Column in RPOS 6
You have to follow these steps:
  • A new column named "Rejected Qty" has been added to the Purchase Entry screen in which you can enter the number of items that have been rejected.
  • When you save the 'Purchase,' an automatic 'Purchase return' will take place.
Creating a discipline while creating a 'Purchase entry' and 'Return' is crucial for retailers to track orders, do quality checks, and take time-sensitive actions. The Rejected quantity column empowers retailers with this discipline and allows retailers to make business decisions with caution.
