In this announcement, we will take you through a few more customization options from the list above.
5. Display modes
GoBill Mobile brings you the ease of billing on mobile phones with no compromise on usability and comfort. It offers support at the UI level for both left-handed and right-handed users. It also offers two display modes to choose from - Grid view and List view.
If you are a retailer who wishes to use GoBill Mobile as a fancy product catalog in addition to its purpose of express checkout, the grid view will help you do just that. In this view, you can add attractive images to individual products and use them as your digital catalog. You can also choose the grid size to your liking. Seen as a tool for consultative cross-selling, GoBill Mobile’s grid view allows the sales professionals to always have a quick glance at the product images they are selling along with a few vital information like product type and taxes.
If you are someone who wishes to keep it simple and focus on only the express checkout aspect of GoBill Mobile, you can opt for the list view where the prominence on item images is lesser. Best suited for industries like pharma retail, list view allows you to have much more items in a single screen than the grid view, making it a better option for fast billing.
You can switch between Grid view and list view anytime from the GoBill Mobile app directly.
Go to Setting -> Display Setting and choose your ideal view.
6. Languages
Certainly, the most effective customization option in GoBill Mobile, as exclaimed by most of our users, GoBill Mobile can be operated in 4 languages - English, Tamil, French, and Portuguese, with many more to follow. With just a tap on the screen, the complete application will change to whichever language you choose. What’s more convenient is that you can switch back and forth between two languages anytime from the app itself.
Navigate to the Settings tab from the Main Menu and choose the desired language Upon changing the language, the application will restart once and the changes made will reflect immediately after.
7. Location-wise inventory
GoBill Mobile is a perfect solution for pop-up kiosks, van sales, stalls, and exhibitions, etc where retailers tend to sell their products beyond the four walls of their stores. In such scenarios, it makes sense for them to think they do not want their entire inventory to be listed in their GoBill Mobile application as they are now doing sales away from the stores with limited inventory only. Here, in order to restrict GoBill Mobile to display only the items that are at the disposal of the retailers who are on the move, one can perform ‘location stock transfer’ in their RetailEasy server and map the ‘To’ location too GoBill Mobile. By doing this, only the products that are transferred to the ‘To’ location will be available for the GoBill Mobile user to sell.
The effect of this being:
1. Avoiding confusion while adding items to the cart
2. Faster checkouts as there are only limited products to sell
3. Better app performance due to smaller inventory size
Location-wise inventory can be done in 5 simple steps.
1. In your RetailEasy server, create a new location in ‘Location Master’
2. Go to ‘Stock Transfer’ and select the ‘To’ location as the newly created location and load the inventory.
3. Go to ‘Mobile Device Counter’ and load the GoBill Mobile counter you wish to map this location too.
4. In the ‘Stock location’ field, select the newly created location and save the changes.
5. Perform sync in the GoBill Mobile application and you are good to go with the newly mapped location and inventory.
