How to restore the existing table layout using re-index?

Re-Index
Use Re-Index when you want to restore the default table layout from your existing table layout. It helps in re-indexing the indexed data.

Note:
  • It is recommended that log out from RPOS6.5 in all client before Re-index process begins.
  • Do not log into RPOS 6.5 from any of the client when the Re-Index process is in progress.
  • Make sure that you have enough disk space in the application installed drive.
    • It is recommended to check the free disk space available in your drive.
    • The drive space should be at least three times of the Database folder size.
Steps for Re-Index
  1. Click Tools > Utility Manager > Re-Index.
  2. The ReIndex database tables screen is displayed.



  3. Click ReIndex.
  4. A confirmation message is displayed.



  5. Click Yes.



  6. The application starts Database re-Index in Re-Index database table(s).
    Note:
    • Select Fast Compress if you want to compress for datafile(s) and Logfile(s).
    • Re-Index process takes few minutes to finish the process.
  7. A confirmation message is displayed after the successful completion of Re-index. Click OK.
  8. Click Close to close the screen.
