How to add a new user in the security manager?

Adding a new user

1. Click Tools >> Configuration >> Security Manager to open the Security Manager screen. 
2.
Click the Settings button.
3. Click Security Type to open the Security Type screen.

  • Select the option User.
  • Click Update to update the security type.
4. Click Add. The Add screen is displayed.

    
a.
 In the User name field, enter the user name
b.
 In the PassWord field, enter the password for the login
c.
 In the Display name field, enter the name to be displayed on the screen
d.
 In the Reporting to the field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the name of the user to whom the new user will be reporting to
e.
 In the Activation Status field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the options below: 
  • Active - to activate the user login
  • Inactive - to deactivate the user login and the user can not use the login further

f. In the INV Type field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the options below:

  • None - User can make transactions from type I and type II accounts
  • type I -  User can make transactions from type I account only
  • type II - User can make transactions from type II account only

g. In the Set Default Company field, press ENTER or F2 key to select from the options below:

  • YES
  • NO
This option is applicable for multiple companies

h. In the Default Company field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the default company name

i. In the Default Division field, press ENTER to select the division name (applicable for multiple divisions)

j. In the Default Location field, press ENTER to select the location name (applicable for multiple locations)

k. In the Company List field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the company name

l. In the Division List field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the division name

m. In the Location List field, press ENTER or F2 key to select the Location name

n. In the User Type field, press ENTER or F2 key to select  from the options below:

  •  Live User - to activate for a live session
  •  Practice User - to activate for practice session

o. In the Mobile no field, enter the mobile number of the user

p. In the Email field, enter the email of the user

q. Click Save to save the data and login is created for the new user

   The created user name is added in the User List.
