Purpose: The Area/Beat Master feature in TruePOS is designed to streamline sales, marketing, and delivery operations by organizing regions into structured areas and beats. It enables businesses to plan efficiently and execute their sales and delivery activities, ensuring optimized resource allocation and improved customer satisfaction.
Steps to proceed with the creation:
Navigate to the Master Module
Go to Master Module > Customer > Area Beat Master.
Add Area/Beat Master
Click on the "Add Area/Beat Master" button to input specific details.
Select the Type from the Dropdown List
Choose one of the following options based on your requirements:
Sales Area:
Represents a geographical region segmented for managing sales activities. This helps in resource allocation and planning strategies for the location.
Market Beat:
A subdivision within a sales area, focusing on specific markets or customer segments to enable targeted marketing and sales initiatives.
Sales Beat:
A further breakdown of market beats, designed for detailed planning of sales routes and schedules.
Delivery Beat:
Refers to a designated route or region for managing delivery logistics within a sales area.
Add Specific Details
Fill in the following information:
Name of the Area
City and State
Pincode
Specify whether Octroi Tax is applicable or not:
Octroi Tax is a local tax charged on goods entering a city or town for sale, consumption, or use.
It applies to items like machinery, food products, or consumer goods.
Enter the Wage of the Area:
Refers to the minimum or standard wage defined for a specific location, which depends on the region, sector, and skill level.
Choose the Status as "Active."
Save the Information
Once all details are filled in, click on the "Save" button to add the information successfully.

1. What if I accidentally assign the wrong type (e.g., Sales Beat instead of Delivery Beat)?
Answer: Navigate back to the Area Beat Master section. Select the entry, click "Edit", and correct the type.
2. Can I deactivate an Area/Beat Master entry that is no longer in use?
Answer: Yes, we can Change the status to "Inactive" and save the changes.
