How to manage cash flow using Cash and Shift Management?

Purpose :

To manage cash flows and sales transactions in a fast and secured way using a centralized system. This is applicable when multiple billing counters are used. Each billing counter is configured and routed to any one of the centralized cashier counters.

The centralized cashier counter is managed by the cashier for cash collection. It allows the cashier to make all sales transactions including the converting of due bills, home delivery bills to cash bills etc.

Benefits:

It is useful to view the summary of the bills and cash paid in a shift Home delivery bills can also be monitored on the same screen.

Enabling Cash and Shift Management:

Log in to the application with your service user id and navigate to Tools >> Configuration >> ‘Enable Cash and Shift Management’.
