CDS(Counter Display System)

Purpose: CDS screen will display the order details of Take away and online orders. Whatever We will update the item status in the Kitchen display screen(KDS) for both take way and online orders that status will be displayed in the CDS screen.

 

Real time scenario: For Example :Customer places the order via online order or take way item called "cold coffee "with "2" quantity-Kitchen Display screen will notify with new order so that order will display in the cds screen once the order status changes in the kds screen , it will update in the cds screen.

 

Go to Sales->Under the session ->Click on CDS Menu.

 

 

 

Step 1:Once the order placed for Take away order type->In the cds will display the order with the New order status with Red color.

 

 

 

Step 2:Whenever new order created,KDS screen notify the order and start the preparing item ,  they change the item status to Processed, The same status will be reflecting in the CDS screen.

 

 

Step 3:Once the Item or order has been prepared, In Kitchen Display screen change the status to prepared , The same will be reflecting in the CDS Screen.

 

 

 

 

Step 4:In the KDS Screen, From item Status prepared to served ,Then order details will not shown in the cds screen because the order has been served.

Once the status changed to served ,CDS screen order details will be removed.

 

 

 

CDS Configuration for Promotion display:

 

Purpose:

  * In the Counter display screen (CDS) Screen, We can display the advertisement like ads at the interval time to cover up the customers and brand promotions.

 

Real Time Scenario: If Order has been placed order type under take away or online order, It will be displayed in the CDS Screen which display order details at the interval time we can add advertisement ads or picture in the screen.

 

To Configure the Ads in CDS Screen:

Menu Access: Go to Settings->Organization->CDS Configuration

 

 

 

Step 1: Go to CDS Configuration-> Select the "Location" from drop down and Enter the "Display interval time"

Display interval time use to set the time limit to display the "Advertisement images" in the CDS Screen.

Status can be "Yes/No" to active or inactive the CDS Configuration.

 

 

Step 2: Insert the image in the "Upload image" which needs to be Advertised or display and Enter the Seconds of "Display Duration"  in the CDS Screen.

 

Note : Display Duration of the image should be lesser than Display interval time.

 

Note: Maximum 5 images can be uploaded to display not more than that.

 

 

Step 3: After configured the images and display interval duration , Click on"update" to reflect in the CDS Screen.

 

 

 

Now, Updated images will display in the CDS screen based on the interval time duration configured for the item.
