Purpose of Backup:
Backup is a copy of business data that is stored in your system, so that it can be used to restore the original in the event of a data loss.
A Guide to Changing Backup Path:
Step 1: Whenever you exit the RetailEasy software, it asks you for a backup via this context menu.
Step 2:
The default backup location is available, but you can change it by clicking the two dots button. Furthermore, you can view your previous backup history and its status in the table
Step 3:
Select the location where you need to save the backup and click Backup. If you need a secondary copy of your data, choose the Leave a copy option, where you can also save it in a disc drive, USB drive or hard disk and click Backup.
There are many causes of data failure, including hardware failure, software failure, data corruption, or human error (virus or malware attack). Thus, taking a backup will keep your data safe and secure.
