What are the Configurations to enabled to maintain Damage and Wastage?

Two level configuration is available for Damage and Wastage entry:
  • Global Configuration
  • Local Configuration
Global Configuration
You can change the Global Configuration through View Damage Stock and Wastage Accounts Posting.
(a) View Damage Stock
  1. Click Tools > Configuration Manager > Configuration.
  2. The Business Configuration Screen is displayed.



  3. Click Sales > Sales LOV Details.
  4. Scroll down to View Damage Stock.



  5. Select View Damage Stock. Click Save.
    Note: Selecting the View Damage Stock will enable you to view Damage Stock column in LOV screen.
  6. A confirmation message is displayed.
  7. Click Exit to close the screen.

(b) Wastage Accounts Posting
Note: Follow the Step 1-2 as above.
  1. Click Inventory > Wastage.
  2. The Wastage Accounts Posting is displayed.



  3. Select Wastage Accounts Posting. Click Save.
    Note: The Wastage Account Posting will happen while saving a wastage entry. It help you maintain your wastage account by posting the amount in account.
  4. A confirmation message is displayed.
  5. Click Exit to close the screen.

Local Configuration
You can change the Local Configuration through DamageRetAnySupplier.
  1. Click Purchase > Purchase Return.
  2. Click Config or press F1 to display Configuration screen.



  3. Select DamageRetAnysupplier. Click OK.
    Note: DamageRetAnySupplier enable you to make damage stock return in any supplier.
