There are 4 types of configuration in the screen:
1. App configuration
2. About us
3. Multilanguage configuration
4. Payment configuration
1. App configuration:
Retailers, according to their business nature, can configure their app considering the below parameters.
Minimum order value: The minimum amount to order online
Allow the user to place the order when the items are out of stock: If enabled, the consumer can place the order even for the items that are out of stock. Note: Consumer will not know that the item is out of stock.Maximum distance to deliver: The radius within which the customer can make an order from the app.
Pick up available: If enabled, pick up option will be displayed
Hide out of stock items: If enabled, out of stock items will be removed from the app.
Enable push notification: If enabled, the user will be notified through push notification when the order is completed
Hide item price: If enabled, the price will be hidden in the app
Allow to enter item quantity: User can directly enter the item quantity rather than incrementing
Outstanding available: If enabled, user can see the outstanding in the app itself
Show category tree structure in mobile app: If enabled, category tree structure in POS will be reflected in app.
If "Show 'Only X left' message in the app" and "Show the stock count in the app" are enabled, the stock count will be displayed for all the products and for the products which have stock less than 10, for ex: 6, "Only 6 left" message will be displayed.
If "Show 'Only X left' message in the app" is enabled and "Show the stock count in the app" is disabled, for the products which have stock less than 10, for ex: 6, "Only 6 left" message will be displayed. For other products, the stock count will not be displayed at all.
If "Show 'Only X left' message in the app" is disabled, and "Show the stock count in the app" is enabled, for the products which have stock less than 10, for ex: 6, "Only 6 left" message will not be displayed but the stock count of all the products will be displayed in the app.
If "Show 'Only X left' message in the app" and "Show the stock count in the app" are disabled, neither the stock count nor the "Only 6 left" message will not be displayed against the products in the app.
2. About us configuration:
Retailers can mention information about their company/industry/business/brand in the text box and the same will be reflected in "About us" menu in their online store app. The about us field can also be used for listing out the FAQ's(Frequently asked questions by their customers), contact information and any additional information.
Information mentioned in the text box in the back end portal along with the brand logo will be displayed in the "About us" section in their online store app.
3. Multi language configuration:
Some of the consumers expect the application to be in their local language. Retailers can configure their app to be supportive for multiple languages by enabling the corresponding language configuration in the back end portal.
1. Consumers can choose their preferred language in the online store app at the time of logging in.
2. Upon choosing the language, the fields will be accordingly changed based on the language chosen
How to change the language?
For instance, if the user wants to change the language to Gujarati, he can go to My account -> Choose your language
Choose Gujarati language.
The app fields will be accordingly changed to Gujarati language.
How to enable all the languages?
1. Go to Multi language configuration->Enable all the languages
2. App users can choose their preferred language at the time of logging in.
Note: Please note that the items/categories names will not be displayed in the chosen language and will remain in English only. The menu's and the other fields in the app will only be displayed in the chosen language.
4. Payment configuration
Most of the customers want flexible payment options in online shopping apps like G-pay, Phonepe and Paytm. They would like to pay through online mode at the time of delivery. Using OrderEasy back end portal, retailers can configure the same based on the availability of payment modes with them.
Steps to configure the modes of payment:
1. Go to configuration->Payment configuration
2. Enable the payment modes configuration based on the availability
3. Customers, after adding the products to cart and saving the address, can click on "Proceed to payment"
4. They can choose the preferred mode of payment and place the order.
5. The delivery boy can collect the money at the time of the delivery through the mentioned mode of payment
