Providing Bill and Item wise Discounts in GoBil mobile

Perform bill discount

Configure Bill discount:
  • For RetailEasy,  enable bill discount for user.  Go to Tools -> Security manager -> Sales -> Sales bill -> Enable bill discount (under function key for the logged in user)
Steps to perform bill discount:

  1. Login to GoBil mobile application.
  2. Enable bill discount in server, and perform sync in GoBil mobile
  3. Select the Item.
  4. Go to Cart and click on the Icon and select Bill discount.
  5. Enter the value and choose whether the entered value is in Percentage or Amount and click on Done.
  6. In the cart we can see the applied discount and the Total to be paid, click on Pay Button.
  7. Select the payment type, enter the Amount and click on Tender button so the bill will be generated.

Perform item discount

Configure Item discount:
  • For RetailEasy,  enable item discount for user.  Go to Tools -> Security manager -> Sales -> Sales bill -> Enable item discount (under function key for the logged in user)
Steps to perform item discount:
  1. Login to GoBil mobile Application
  2. Enable item discount for user and perform sync in GoBil mobile
  3. Select the Item and go to cart
  4. Click on the item
  5. Enter the value under item discount and choose whether it is in Amount or in percentage and click on ‘%’ mark
  6. Now the discount for the item is applied and we can see that in cart, click on Pay button
  7. Select the payment type and enter the amount and click Tender so the bill will be generated

FAQ's
1.  Can we restrict GoBil mobile user from giving item discount, if yes how?
      - Yes, We can restrict a user from giving item discount in GoBil mobile
 
     Steps to disable item discount:    
  • In GoFrugal Retaileasy, go to Tools -> Configuration -> Security manager
  • For the User click on ‘Menu configure’, click on Sales (custom settings) -> Sales Bill (custom settings), click on Function Keys tab and disable ‘Item Disc’ and Save it
  • Login to GoBil mobile, perform sync in GoBil mobile
  • Add the item to cart, click on the item and item discount field will not be displayed.
