What is Category Value:

The Base category is broadened by Category Value, which functions somewhat like a subcategory.

Benefits:The Creating item category values under specific categories allows you to assign a purpose or intent to each category value. This purpose-driven categorization offers several benefits for businesses and users.

We can create the Sub category mapping under the category head.

For Example: We can create the Category value like "Mobiles " "Laptops" which we can map under the Category head called "Electronics Product".

How to create the Item Category value

Step 1 : Go to Masters >> Item >> Item Category Value

 

Step 2 : Click on "New Category Value" to create and map with Category head.

 

Step 4 : Select "Show in Webstore" as "Yes" or "No".

Step 5 : Select "Active" or "Inactive" status from the list

Step 6 : Click on "Save" to update the changes.
