Do you know how to assign Items to the Item Hierarchy/Categories in Bulk for HQ?
The Item Hierarchy or the Category Tree structure is used to set up the categorization of the items for the structural designing, reporting as well as for the Online website or Mobile Apps category structure.
The main benefit of creating the Category Tree Structure and mapping the items with it is to get the proper categorization and item listing in mobile apps and E-Commerce portals.
Step 1: Go to MDM > Attribute Master Management > Bulk Category Map Tool
Step 2: Select and filter, Main category.
Step 3: Select the filter and load the desired value from the list & click on the Load Items button to load the items.
Step 4: Now select and update the categories you created with the items. You can copy and paste the values across the columns.
Step 5: After all the changes are done, click on the Save button to compete the process.
Item Mapping with the categories is a mandatory process to be followed to achieve the category tree structure.
