Purpose: Outlet and warehouse mapping in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) involves creating a mapping between the physical locations of outlets or stores and warehouses, and the corresponding inventory data stored in the ERP system. This helps to optimize inventory management, streamline the supply chain, and improve order fulfillment.
Below are the steps to configure the Warehouse with Stores/Outlets:
To configure the Distribution Center do the following:
Step 1: Go to Admin > Configuration > DC Setup.
Step 2: On this page, select the Distribution Center Name from the list. All the outlets will be listed.
Step 3: There click on the Map button to Map the Outlets with the warehouses.
Where will the warehouse and store mapping get reflected?
The Warehouse and Store/outlet mapping get reflected in the Indent Wise Replenishment screen. See the steps below for better understanding.
Step 1: Go to BPM > Inventory Management > Replenishment > Indent Wise Replenishment.
Step 2: Choose the Warehouse and click on Apply.
