What is the purpose of Physical Stock Updates?
If you find any discrepancy or mismatch in the stock you can check and update to correct the stock in the physical stock screen.
Also you can clear the stock in single click from the Physical stock screen. Updating stock in Physical stock screen will clear the
batch for the item & you can also use the Excel to import and export the stock here.
How to update the Physical Stock?
1. Go to Inventory and Physical Stock updates screen.,
2. You can load the item by entering the item code or name also you have the option to load by using the filters.
3. Enter the correct available stock numbers in the Qty column and other columns like rate details as well.
4. Once the items are loaded save the same and click F9 StkUpt key to update the stock.
How to update the Physical stock in bulk using the Excel?

1. Go to Physical stock inventory and click the Export.xls by pressing the Cntrl key
Note: you can load the items using the filter option or the selected items which you need to update.2. Update the columns in the excel with the Qty and rate details and then save the same in the format of Xls 93-2005.Go to Physical stock screen and
import the same.

3. Map the column for the description to Source field.For Ex for description,
"Item code" from the template map the "Code" from the source field follow the same for rest columns by hitting enter.
4. Save the same and press F9 StkUpt key to complete the process.
5. You can check the affects in the sales LOV or Stock reports.
