What is Purchase Order?

 

A purchase order, or PO, is an official estimated list of products that is issued by a buyer to the seller for the purchase of specific products or services to be delivered in the future.

 

Purpose & Benefit: Purchase Order prints are required for sending the details of the required items for purchase. Purchase Order prints are the physical copies of the orders given to the suppliers.

A. Device settings for printing the Purchase Order in RetailEasy

 

Step 1: Go to Tools > Configuration > Device Settings. 


Step2: On 'Device Configuration' window click on GST Print Profile > 'Purchase'.



Step3: In 'Purchase Order GST', press 'Enter' to see the list of installed printers in your system.




Step4: From Printers LOV select the desired printer.




Step5: Click on 'Print Design'.




Step 6: Then click on the 'Printer button' in the top. 




Step 7: Then select the desired Printer from the Printer Settings window.




Step 8: Then click on the 'Apply 'button and 'Ok' button to save the changes.

 

Pre-requisite: If you want to print the Purchase Order Directly after saving it or want that software should ask before printing it then this can also be done by following the below mentioned steps:

 

Step: 1 Go to Tools > Configuration > Device Settings. 



Step2: On 'Device Configuration' window click on GST Profile Settings > 'Profile Settings'.




Step3: In 'Confirm Printing for Purchase' option, you need to place the check mark for software should ask before printing and if you want to print directly then disable the check mark from the field.

Step4: Click on 'Save'.



Conclusion: Whenever you create the Purchase order, software will ask before printing the purchase order.

 

Now there are two more ways to print the purchase order:

 

  1. From Sales > Reprint.

  2. Purchase > Purchase order

Step 1: Go to Sales > Reprint. 



Step 2: Press 'Enter' on Transaction field.




 

Step4: Select the 'Purchase Order'. 



Step5: Now mention the date range according to the requirement.



Step6: From the supplier LOV, select the supplier whose purchase order needs to be printed.



Step7: Now you will have all the purchase orders of that supplier & click on 'Print'.



In this way you can print the purchase orders in RetailEasy.


Step1: Go to Purchase > Purchase Order.



Step2: Press 'F8' to print the transaction.



Step3: Select the purchase order which needs to be printed.



In this way, you can print the purchase order in Retail Easy.
