Step 1: Go to Purchase > Masters > Distributor.

 

Step 2: Click on F4 Edit button to do the changes for the Distributor Master.

(Note: Key settings may vary from user to user, you can click on the blank button just beside F1 Key to change the key combinations to find the desired key)

 

Step 5: Select the Vendor name from the Distributor Master list LOV.

 

 Step 6: Go to the Order Days tab and select your scheduled day. For example Saturday. Set the option as YES.

 

Step 7: Click on F6 Save to save the settings.

To set up a Supplier Calendar / Reorder Days for a supplier in a Bulk, do the following steps:

Step 1: Go to Purchase > Masters > Distributor

 

Step 2: Press Ctrl + F3 Bulk Update together.

(Note: Key settings may vary from user to user, you can click on the blank button just beside F1 Key to change the key combinations to find the desired key)

 

Step 3: Locate the desired day and update the option YES from the drop-down.

Step 4: Click on SAVE to save the settings.

 

 

Step 5: Click on YES to apply the changes.

 

Step 6: Click on OK to complete the process.

 

Checking the process outcome:

After doing all the setup, if you want to check whether the applied setting for the Distributor is working or not, do the following steps.

Step 1: Go to Inventory > Reorder > Reorder.

 

Step 2: Select the desired Date from the Order Days/Distributor filter.

 

Step 3: Then select the Distributor from the Order Days/Distributor list and set the Reorder filters as per your needs.

Step 4: Click on the Generate button to generate the List.


Step 5: Click on Yes to generate the list.

 

Step 6: Click on F6 Save as PO to save the reorder as PO.

Step 7: Click on YES to generate the PO successfully.

 

Outcome of the entire process:

When the Purchase Order is generated from the Reorder Screen, it will be saved under the Purchase Order listing, and also it will be ready to be converted to the Purchase Invoice.

 

Below are the prerequisites for the Supplier Calendar or for setting Reorder Days for a Supplier:

Step 1: Go to Purchase > Masters > Distributor

 

Step 2: Press F4 Manage Tab to open the Manage Tab window.

Step 3: Click on Order Days under caption and then Activate (put a tick ✔) in the value section mentioned in the right-hand panel.

*** Note: If you activate the days (Sunday - Saturday) here, then only it will get reflected in the Distributor Master.

Step 4: Then click on Apply button to apply the settings.
