Expiry Rule

Expiry Rule

Purpose: The Expiry Offer feature in TruePOS allows shop owners, especially in departmental stores, to offer discounts on items nearing their expiry dates. This helps clear old stock efficiently while reducing losses due to expired goods.

Example Scenario:

Consider a departmental store with a large inventory of perishable items like dairy products or snacks. Using the Expiry Offer feature, the store can offer discounts on items close to their expiry date, such as providing a 5% discount on biscuits set to expire in the next month. This incentivizes customers to purchase the items quickly.
