1. What is Datewise pricing?
Datewise pricing indicates that the price of the items set is applicable only during the specified dates or applicable only for specified days.
2. Brief the purpose of using Datewise pricing.
It is a kind of sales offer provided for a short time period. User can customize the price for the items by defining the dates for which the pricing is applicable and defining the margin values for the items. The configured price change is applicable for the items only in the specific dates defined after which the Selling Price reverts back to the old price.
3. How can I set the pricing for a specific period and how it affects sales?
The price can be the actual price (or) more than actual (or) less than the actual price. It is a kind of sales offer useful when the user wants to provide certain items for a discount in certain cases with the intention of promoting more sales.
4. How the salesman commission is linked to datewise pricing?
Like the usual salesman commission, in datewise pricing also certain percentage is offered as salesman commission.
5. What are the different ways by which I can apply datewise pricing?
The datewise pricing can be applied for the different items based on barcodes, based on category and based on the purchase/distributor receipt.
6. After loading the items on the screen, I want to delete one or more items. How can I do that?
1. To delete the line items at the time of creating the record, press Delete key.
2. To delete the line items after saving the record, use the edit mode. Press space bar in the Delete column and click Save.
7. I have an item in item master without barcode. Can I use datewise pricing for this item?
Barcode is mandatory. Unless you have the barcode, you can not use datewise pricing.
8. Can I change the rate of the item after saving the record?
Yes, you can change the rates.
