01. What is Unicode Editor?
It is a feature that allows anyone who does not know the universal language (English) to make transactions using his/her regional language. i.e. customers from any part of the world can use this feature to make the transactions.
02. How can I use my regional language in RPOS7?
Using the control panel settings, you can add your regional language in the list. Use the below navigation path.
Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> Regional and Language options >> Language >> Details >> Add.
Select your regional language as the input language and keyboard layout and click OK to add your regional language.
To add more languages, follow the same procedure above.
03. How can I use the added regional language in my software?
Click Tools >> Miscellaneous >> Unicode Editor to open the language editor screen. Select the regional language from the font drop-down list. Now, the text entered will be displayed in the selected regional language.
04. How can I view the items in my regional language in the bill print?
Tools >> Configuration >> Device settings >> Print Profile Settings >> Profile Selection
For Sales [Primary Profile], select the Regional Language check box and save. The bill print will display the text in the selected regional language.
05. How can I view the menus in my regional language?
- Click Tools >> Miscellaneous >> Unicode Editor to open the language editor screen.
- Click the Item/Menu Tab to select the menu and save.
- Select the regional language from the Language drop-down list.
- Select the font, enter the text, and save.
06. My regional language is not found in the default list. How can I add my language?
Click Create Language >> New. Enter your regional language and click save. The name will be added to the list.
07. previously I had my menus in one regional language. Now, I want to switch to another regional language. How can I do that?
Select the language you want to switch to from the drop-down list of the Language tab. The menu names will be changed to the selected language.
