How to associate Items with Category Values and Categories?
Once Category Values are created under Categories, Items can be associated with relevant Category Values. For example, let us consider Britannia Marie Gold as the item to be added.
How to associate items?
Step 2: Click on Item > Item (from the drop-down)
Step 3: Click on Add Item in the Item screen
Step 4: Fill up the General section with the Item Name, EAN/UPC code, Brand name, etc.
Step 5: Fill up the Tax, Sales, Packing sections
Step 6: In the Category section, click on the relevant Category's drop-down and choose the Category Value.
Step 7: Fill up the Barcode Rule, Others, and GST sections.
Step 8: Click on Save.
Step 9: A message confirming the successful addition of the item is displayed and the Item appears in the list.
By repeating the steps from 3 to 9, we can easily associate any number of Items with relevant Categories and Category Values. With RetailEasy on-cloud (TruePOS), any item can be associated with one or more Categories or Category Values for systemic grouping.
