How do contactless dine-in in ServQuick?

 

Contactless dine-in concepts were introduced to ensure a safe and delighted customer experience. Customers can place their orders by scanning a QR code and the digital menu is displayed. They can choose the items from the digital menu card and place their orders directly. This order is directly sent to the kitchen for processing.

 

Benefits: 

  • Customers don't have to wait for waiters to attend the table and list out the menu. They can easily scan the QR code and place their orders.

  • By contactless dine-in, the overall order processing time is reduced, and the restaurant will gain more happy customers.

  • It ensures the safety of customers and expedites the table turnaround time.

 

How to make a contactless dine-in?

 

Step 1:

 

To do a contactless dine-in, the respective configuration has to be enabled. Go to Settings --> Sales Configuration --> Enable the 'Enable Contactless Dine-in' option and click on Save.

 

 

Step 2:


In Masters, select the Digital Menu. Under Digital Menu, each section has to be updated to enable contactless dine-in.

 

 

Step 3:

 

In the menu section, click on Create Menu.

 

 

Step 4:

 

Enter the name and description of the menu. Click on save.

 

 

Step 5:

 

In the Digital Menu, click on Menu vs Location.

 

 

Step 6:

 

The locations will be displayed. Select the desired location for which the menu is to be mapped and click on Edit.

 

 

Step 7:

 

You can choose multiple menus for a single location. Select the menu and click on update.

 

 

Step 8:

 

Now to map the items to Menu, click on Menu vs Item in the Digital Menu section.

 

 

Step 9:

 

Choose the location and menu. From the list of all items, click on the checkbox to map it to that menu.

 

 

Step 10:

 

After mapping all items to the menu, click on Update.

 

 

Step 11:

 

Now, click on QR code generation in the Digital menu section to generate the QR code.

 

 

Step 12:

 

Choose the location, order type, and table and click on Generate.

 

 

Step 13:

 

The QR code is generated and is shown to the user for scanning. Once the user scans the QR code, an approval request is sent to the POS system. Orders can be placed once the POS system accepts the request.

 

 

Thus, without any contact, the orders can be placed using contactless dine-in to have a safe user experience.
