How to add a New Shipping Address in RetailEasy on-cloud?

Customers might want to make an Order from one branch and get the goods delivered to another Branch. So a single customer can have more than one Shipping Address. In RetailEasy on-cloud, you can add a new shipping address to the Customer from the Sales Quotation screen.

 

You do not have to go back to the Customer master from the Sales screens to add a Shipping address. You can add it directly from the Sales Quotation, Sales Order, Delivery Note and Sales Bill screens.

 

How to enable the configuration to add a New Shipping Address?

Step 1: In the main tab of RetailEasy on-cloud, click on Tools > Configuration

 

Step 2: From the drop-down of the Configuration section, select Business Configuration

Step 3: In the Business Configuration screen, click on the Search Box and type "Show Ship to Branch Name of Customer". Enable the configuration by ticking the corresponding checkbox. Click on Save

 

How to add New Shipping Address?

Step 1: On any of the Sales screens, press Enter on the Customer field to select a Customer from the Customer List pop-up

Step 2: Press Enter on the Ship Name field of the Sales screen. The Recipients List pops up with the available shipping branches of the Customer

Step 3: Select the desired shipping branch from the Recipient List, if available, and proceed. The default Shipping Address is the Address of the Customer

 

Step 4: If the Shipping Address of the Customer is not visible in the pop-up, you can add a New Shipping Address by pressing and holding the Shift key and clicking on the Shipping button or by pressing Shift + F11 to get the Customer Shipping Address screen

Refer to the descriptions given below

  • Address, Pincode - Enter the New Shipping Address to be added to the customer

  • Mobile, Email - The existing Mobile number of the customer is loaded by default

  • Enter the other contact details and click on OK to save the New Shipping Address

 

Step 5: The New Shipping Address will be loaded to the Ship Name field. Proceed and feed the Items to be shipped to the list, on the Sales screen.

 

Thus, you can add more customer shipping addresses by repeating the process and you will not have to restrict yourself from shipping goods to only one location for a customer, instead you can ship them to a branch of your choice.
