RetailEasy on-cloud allows three ways of adding customers. The Quick add Customer method is used when a customer detail has to be stored to your domain in the middle of a Sales Order/Bill/Quotation or a Delivery Note. The Manual addition of Customers can be used when one or two customers have to be added to the domain. The Master Migration feature allows the Bulk upload of Customer Details into the RetailEasy on-Cloud domain.

Using the Master Migration feature, you can import Customer details from any platform into your RetailEasy on-cloud domain by just uploading an Excel sheet. Also, the bulk upload of data saves you time, effort, manpower, and associated costs.
How to upload Customer Details in bulk using Master Migration?
Step 1: In the main tab of RetailEasy on-cloud, click on Tools > Master Migration.
Step 2: In the Sheet Generation section, from the drop-down of Select a Master field, choose Customer Master. And click on Load Config.
Step 3: In the Load Config screen, tick the checkboxes of the features you wish to enable. Ticking the Mandatory check box adds the features to the sheet.
Note: Once the Mandatory check box is enabled for a feature we must ensure that the no cell of that feature's column is left empty before uploading the sheet.
Step 4: Click on Save Config. Now the template of the sheet has been saved. Click on Download CSV to download the template file.
Step 5: The downloaded template file will be available on your device's local storage. Click on the download file to open it, and enter the Customer details.
Note: If you are using the Chrome browser, you can find the downloaded file on the left bottom of your screen or press Ctrl + J to look for your downloads. The CSV sheet can be opened with any spreadsheet software.
Step 6: Enter the Customer details into the sheet.
Step 7: In the Upload Sheet section, from the drop-down of Select a Master field, choose Customer Master.
Step 8: Click on the Choose File button to browse the file, the chosen file name appears to the right, and click on Upload File.
Step 9: A confirmatory message conveying the successful upload of Customer data appears. Click OK to proceed.
The Customer Data has been successfully saved to your domain and can be seen on the Customer Master screen (Master > Customer). Thus, RetailEasy on-cloud's Customer Master Migration feature is the fastest way to add customers to your domain in huge volumes.
