How to allow GRN picker to receive GRN against PO in GoSure GRN(RetailEasy7)?
The GIN entry made by the GRN pickers is the beginning point of stock inward into the outlet. Any mismatch in the GIN entry against the PO will create chaos down the delivery chain. In order to ensure error free GIN entry by GRN pickers, it is essential that PO number of each supplier is visible to them, so that they can make the GIN against it.
Benefits of allowing to receive GRN against PO in GoSure mobile app:
Allowing the GRN pickers to receive GRN against the PO from mobile, fulfills the purpose of making GIN entry. When GRN pickers make the GIN entry against the PO, the GRN managers can easily compare the received quantity with the ordered quantity in the PO and take corrective action in case of mismatch in the stock.
How to allow GRN picker to receive GRN against PO in GoSure mobile app?
Prerequisite: Enable the configuration "Allow to receive GRN against PO from mobile itself" in the GRN web-app.
Step 1: In the GRN mobile app, enter the supplier details by clicking on "+Supplier Details".
Step 2: Click on the "+PO" button at the right -top end of the 'Add Header details' window and select the PO from the selected supplier. The GRN picker can then continue to make GIN against the selected PO from the respective supplier.
NOTE: If the configuration "Allow to receive GRN against PO from mobile itself" is disabled, the "+PO" button is not visible in the GRN mobile app for the GRN picker and he will not be able to make the GRN against the PO from the mobile.
Conclusion: By enabling this configuration using the above steps, the GRN Manager can make a choice either to allow the GRN picker to make GIN against PO or to restrict the GIN entry against the PO.
