How to Archive your Transaction Data from your RPOS6 DB (Medishopdb)?

Steps for Archive Data - Archive Transaction (Medishopdb (Production Live Data))
  1. Right-click the GoFrugal RPOS6 icon.



  2. Click Properties.
  3. The GoFrugal RPOS6 Properties screen is displayed.



  4. Click Open File Location.
  5. The GoFrugal RPOS6 file location folder is displayed.



  6. Double-click the ArchiveData.exe icon.
  7. The Archive Database screen is displayed.



  8. In the Archive Database till field, enter the date till you want to archive the data.
    Note:
    • It is recommended that select the end date of the month.
    • Data should be at-least 3 months old from the current date.
  9. Select the option Archive Transaction (Medishopdb).
  10. Click Archive. The Archive process starts.



    Note: The Archive process takes few minutes to finish.
  11. A message Archive successfully completed is displayed after completion of the data archive process.



  12. Click OK.
  13. The SplitData is displayed with a message Do you want compress Medishopdb_Archive database?.



    • In the SplitData screen, click from the options given below
      • Yes - if you want to compress Medishopdb_Archive database. Click Yes.
      • No - if you do not want to compress Medishopdb_Archive database.
  14. The Compress Database screen is displayed.



  15. Click Compress.
    Note: If the Compress is not pressed, it gets started automatically.
  16. The SplitData screen is displayed with a message Do you want compress Medishopdb database?.



    • In the SplitData screen, click from the options given below
      • Yes - if you want to compress Medishopdb database. Click Yes
      • No - if you do not want to compress Medishopdb database.
  17. The Compress Database screen is displayed.



  18. Click Compress.
    Note: If the Compress is not pressed, it gets started automatically.
  19. The Backup Archive screen is displayed with a message Do you want BACKUP Medishopdb_Archive database?.



    • In the Backup Archive screen, click from the options given below
      • Yes - if you want to compress Medishopdb_Archive database. Click Yes.
      • No - if you do not want to compress Medishopdb_Archive database.
  20. The Archive Database screen is displayed with Medishopdb_Archive completion message.



  21. Click Close.
Note: To view the Archive data click Viewing Archive Data
