How to configure the KM based delivery and create delivery charges based on KM in an Integration portal

KM-based delivery will be available only to OrderEasy Pro version users. The KM radius feature allows you to choose the KM range at your convenience between which customers on a specific radius can place orders, as well as to set delivery fees based on the range you select.

 

Step 1: Log in to the Integration Portal using your credentials

Step 2: Go to the App settings by selecting Configuration

Step 3: You can change the mode of delivery in the App settings by selecting the shipping option at the top

Step 4: Choose the KM option under shipping.

Step 5: Please enter the KM radius in accordance with your convenience to serve your customers and save it.

For eg : Our approach here is to enter 100km to mean that your online store will deliver the products within 100km so customers within 100km of your store can order, but customers beyond 100km of your store will not be able to order.

Step 6: You can find the delivery charges in the menubar under the delivery option

Step 7: Select the Add option at the top right corner of the Delivery charges screen

Step 8: The screen will show all the information needed to set a delivery charge for a different range of kilometers

1. Description - Name of the delivery charge

2. Delivery charge type - Amount or Percentange

3. Min order KMs 

4. Max order KMs 

5. Min order Value 

6. Max order value 

7. Delivery charge - In Rs or In %

8. Tax %

9. Tax type

10. Status - active or in active and save it after entering it.
    

Step 9: Prepare delivery charges for the various ranges of KMs given below and make it active and save the option

for example: 10 to 20 - 50 rs, 21 to 30 - 60 rs

Step 10: Using the live location feature in your application, you can validate the distance range of customers ordering through your application. Charges will be applied based on the distance set in the previous steps.
