How to control(block/unblock) your customers accessing your OrderEasy App?

Now you can decide whether to allow an user to access your OrderEasy application or not. If you are a wholesale seller, who wants to sell your products to a particular group of customers or retailers only (or) if you want restrict customers from Placing unwanted orders your OrderEasy application with orders.

Follow these steps to restrict access to any new user.

 

Step 1:

             Login to the OrderEasy Portal


Step 2: 
             Go to Configuration --> App settings


 

Step 3:
            To restrict the user access to every new entry in your OrderEasy application, Select the checkbox next "Block new customer by default" configuration.

 

Step 4:

            Finally click "Save" to enable the configuration. Now, all the new users will be blocked from using your OrderEasy application. But the members who have been given access by you can continue to use the application without any error or restriction.

 



(or)

Follow these steps to block/Unblock a customer who has already using your OrderEasy application.

Step 1:

            Go to Masters --> Customer


 

             On the customer master screen, you can see three different types of groups.

1) All customer - You will be able to see all the customer entries using through your OrderEasy application.

2) Blocked customer - You can see the customers who have been restricted  to use your OrderEasy application.

3) Unblocked customer - You can see the customers who currently have access to your OrderEasy application.

 

If you select a customer in the customer master you will be able to get details of
1) Shipping address - You will be able to see the different shipping address of the customer. It will help you identify the customer.

 

 

2) Restricted History - You will be able to see the history of restriction with details like which user id authorized the Block/Unblock of a customer, the reason for Block/Unblock and when the customer got Blocked/Unblocked.

 

  



Step 2: 

             To restrict the access to a customer. You can now select the customer from the "All customers" list and enable the toggle icon under 'Blocked Status'.

 



Step 3:

            Now, 'Add details' popup screen will open. In 'Reason for block', provide the reason for restricting access to the customer and click 'Save'. Now the customer's user access will be restricted to your OrderEasy application. The customer will no longer can access your OrderEasy application using the same credentials.

 

 

Step 4:

             You can also restrict access to existing customers using their Mobile number/Email address. Select 'Block Customer', Add details popup screen will open. Provide the login credentials (Email ID/ Mobile number) and Reason for block.Finally click 'Save'. Now the customer with that login credential will be restricted access to your OrderEasy application.

 

 

 

Step 5:
             If you want to revoke the access to a customer who is in a blocked state now. You can select the customer from the Blocked customer group and disable the toggle icon in 'Blocked status'.

 


Step 6: 

             'Add details' Popup screen will open. A reason for unblocking a customer should be provided for your reference. Finally click 'Save'. Now the unblocked customer will be able to access your OrderEasy application with their credentials.

 


*It is mandatory to provide the 'Reason for Unblock' to unblock a customer*
