How to create Sales Bill for interstate Customer in RetailEasy On Cloud


Prerequisites :

Enable the Configuration (Show Sales Type )
Path -  In Tools > Configuration > Business Configuration > Outward section, the Show Sales Type check box is selected and click on save.




Steps To Create Interstate sales
1. In Master > Customer > Customer screen, Sales Type of the customer is set to 'Interstate'.


 



2. In Contact details → Tax Area & State not same as Branch Address. Fill Other details and click on save.


  

3. create sales Bills for a interstate customer.
Click on sales → Sales Bill → press enter in Customer field to select the Customer.






4. Specify the interstate Customer Name or press ENTER or Customer to select pop-up screen.


  • 5. On selecting Customer, the Sales Type appears automatically, as shown below.
















  • 6. Repeat the following until you add all the billable items:
              a. Either scan the Item Code or press ENTER in Code to select from the pop-up screen.The default billable Qty appears as per the  Sale bill related configurations
              b. Enter the billable quantity in Qty.The IGST and the Tax Amount applicable for the item appears automatically.





  • 7. To remove an item from the Bill,
            

  • Click on the Qty of the corresponding item.

  • Press Delete Key so delete confirmation appears.

  • Click OK to confirm.

 



8. Specify the bill-wise Cash Disc % (Cash Discount Amount) or Cash Disc Amount (Cash Discount Amount), if any.



9. Press F6 or click Save.Payment Tender screen appears with the default payment option as shown below:



Note:
Each of the letters in the alphabet list indicates the corresponding payment mode.

For example:
Press 'A' for Cash, 'C' for Credit Card, 'D' for Cheque and such like.

10. Specify the payment received.
11.  Click Ok to save the Bill.
The on-hand Stock quantity reduces as per the records in the bill saved.










Frequently Asked Questions 

In sales Bill View mode sales Type showing as IGST but in report CGST and SGST amount showing what need to check in this case.

In above case 1st check the Customer Tax area and state in customer master the both value is not same as branch state. in this case kindly do the below step to show correct Tax Type value in report.
1. Edit the correct customer state , Tax area , Sales Type in customer master.
2. Re-edit the bill and then check it will work fine.


In which Report we can check the tax value against the bill?
In daily sales summary report, Bill wise item wise sales details report we can check the value in corresponding column ( CGST, SGST,IGST ) Column.
