How to create a Loyalty Rule, map and apply it to a customer in RetailEasy OnCloud?

Loyalty is an important parameter to attract and retain customers in the retail industry. A very simple way of achieving Loyalty is by setting points in proportion with the purchase amount and accumulating them for subsequent purchases. The accumulated points can be redeemed after a specified timeframe which is set by the owner.

RetailEasy Oncloud supports creating a Loyalty Rule, mapping it to Customer and redeeming it after the prescribed period.

 

Steps to create a Loyalty rule

 

1. Goto >> Master >> More >> Tools >> Master Configuration

 

       

 

2. Select Edit from Customer tab and select Enable Loyalty and Loyalty Rule.

     Select the check boxes for Mandatory and Visible and click on Save

 

 

3. Goto Customer >> Loyalty Rules. Click on the Add Loyalty tab



4. The Create loyalty page gets displayed



5. Enter  Loyalty name(1), Whether round off is needed(2), Value for Minimum Redeem

    Point(3), Status(4), Based on- Points(5), Amount per point(6), Effective To(7), Until(8)  

    and Minimum Redeem Days(9).

    Note: Loyalty will be enabled only after the minimum number of days specified for   

    redeeming, for the loyalty rule that is active.

    To set the Rules,

    Set the slab and corresponding points. Add any number of slabs and points as per

    your wish by clicking on " +"  symbol

 

 

6. Click on Update. The Loyalty Rule in the specified Name will be created

 

 

Note: You can select Round off as "Yes" if you want the points as a whole number. You can create any number of loyalty rules but at a time only one rule can be active. You can set the redeem period and minimum redeem points according to your preferences.

 

 To Enable Loyalty for Customers,

 

1. Goto >> Master >> Customer

 

 

2. Select the Edit option at the right end. Edit selected Customer page appears. In the

    Others tab. Select Yes for Enable Loyalty and click on Update

 

To apply Loyalty Rule in Sales Bill

 

1. Goto Sales >> Sales Bill . Select the Customer from the pop-up and click on Enter.

    The Loyalty Point will be displayed along with the Customer details

 

 

2.  Enter the items and corresponding quantity and click on Save

 

 

 

3. The Tender page appears. Press" L" for Loyalty in the Payment amount tab. Options

     to enter the Redeem Amount and the available amount will be displayed. Enter the

     amount you wish to redeem. Click on Ok

 

 

4. The Net amount after deducting entered Loyalty amount from total amount payable

     will be the final bill amount to be paid. Click on OK for the payment to get completed

 

  

 

Thus, Loyalty Rule is created and applied in Sales Bill to redeem the accrued points in RetailEasy OnCloud. This is a process of rewarding a loyal customer and increasing brand affinity.
