If a customer wants to order an item in advance, then you can create the order under the Advance Order option. An advance order can be created in one location, then recalled and processed at another location. Using this feature you can also collect advance payments and update them without any mistakes!
Benefits:
There is a term called 'Special Cake Orders'. In this, if a customer pre books a cake for any family member's birthday/anniversary, then you can surprise them with special offers/combos and write special wishes on the cake to impress them!. This rapidly increases customer loyalty.
As you can pre-book orders based on customer convenience, customer satisfaction will be higher and you can have the item available for the customer without fail.
Steps to create an advance order in ServQuick
Step 1: Go to the Sales menu
Step 2: Under Sales > select the Sales option
Step 3: Choose the customer to be added by clicking on Add Customer
Step 4: Add the items list the customer wants to order in advance. For eg: I have selected Black Forest Ice-cream Cake and Chicken Sandwich
Step 5: Click on the More option which is provided in the top right corner of the sales bill screen
Step 6: Click on the Advance Order option
If the customer has provided any advance amount then you can enter it in the Advance Amount field
You can choose the Delivery date and Time as per the customer's wish
Note: You can also enter remarks to this advance order. For instance; If the customer is ordering a cake for this son's birthday, then you can enter what should be written on the cake in the Remarks field.
Step 7: Click on Done after entering the advance order details
Step 8: Enter a valid e-mail address for the advance order to be e-mailed and click on Done
After completing all the steps, it displays a message as Advance Order has been created.
Note: After creating an advance order, close the session in the Head office.
