How to create Customer Groups in ServQuick?

What are Customer Groups?


The customer group feature in ServQuick combines certain customers to a particular group to provide them certain offers and discounts. For example, if you are to give a discount of 20% to the regular customers, then you can create a group of them to apply the discount to that group.

 

Benefits of creating a Customer Group:

  • Once a customer group is created, the festive offers can be easily applied to the customers without confusion.

  • Send payment emails automatically to a particular customer group.

 

How to create Customer Groups?

 

Step 1:

 

In the home page, Click on Masters--> Customer--> Customer Groups.

 

 

Step 2:

 

Now, you can see the list of all existing customer groups. Click on Add Customer Group to create a new customer group.

 

 

Step 3:

 

Enter the name of the customer group and enter the discount percentage that you want to give them.

 

 

 

Step 4:

 

After entering the details, click on save.

 

 

Step 5:

 

Now, you will get a success message once the customer group is created.

 

 

Step 6:

 

After creating the customer group, you can click "Apply to customers" to apply the discount to all the customers in that group.

 

 

Step 7:

 

Now, you will see a list of all the customers to be added to the group.

 

 

Step 8:

 

You can select the customers whom you want to add to the group that you have created and click on Apply to customers.

 

 

Step 9:

 

After you have added the members, you will receive a success message.

 

 

Now, every time a sales bill is made, the discount will be applied to the customer group. You can check if the discount is applied to the customer while making the sales bill.

 

Step 10:

 

Go to Sales --> Sales on the home page.

 

 

Step 11:

 

Click on Add customer to create the sales bill for that customer.

 

 

 

Step 12:

 

Select the customer that you wish to create the bill.

 

 

Step 13:

 

If a customer is a part of two or more customer groups, then you can change the customer group by selecting "All customers".

 

 

Step 14:

 

Click on the All customers dropdown box to change the customer group and select done.

 

 

Step 15:

 

Select the customer group that you want and click on done.

 

 

Step 16:

 

A pop-up will be displayed if there is a difference in discount rates for the two groups. You will have to over-write the discount amount of the customer. Click on Confirm.

 

 

Step 17:

 

Now, you can see the discount applied that has been applied to the customer from the customer group that we created.

 

 

Instead of applying discounts to each customer manually while billing, with Customer Groups in ServQuick you can apply discounts to a bunch of customers like a cakewalk.
