How to create Preset Discount and Apply it in any sales bill in ServQuick?
Creating a Preset Discount will be really useful for developing your business because it avoids more time consumption. Timing is very important in business fields. The purpose of this document is to set a preset discount that is to be given to customers and to enable this in sales for easy billing.
Benefits:
➤ Avoids confusion by listing all the discounts created by us.
➤ Allows easy and fast billing by just enabling the present discount created.
➤ The waiting time of customers will be reduced because you don't have to search which discount should be added for this particular customer. Also in this way bills will be handled quickly and flawlessly.
Steps to create a Preset Discount in ServQuick
First Go to Settings in your homepage.
Under Promotions > select Discounts.
Click on Add Discount.
1) Enter the Name of the Discount. For Example, You can give it as 'End-of -Season sale'.
2) Next enter the Offer either in Percentage or Rupees. For instance; Enter your desired value and select which type you are going to use.
Note: You can select it by clicking on the drop down menu of the offer field.
3) Then select if this discount is applicable for all location. If yes, select Yes. If not, you can select No.
Note: If you select No, then you have to enter the location separately.
After entering all the details click on Save .
Steps to apply this Discount in Sales Bill:
Under Sales option > Go to Sales > The Sales Bill screen will be displayed.
Choose a Customer > Create a Bill by adding items to the cart.
Now click on More options icon .
Note: This option will be present at the right top of the sales bill screen.
A drop down list will be displayed > Choose Discount.
Choose the desired Preset Discount. Here I am selecting 'End-of -Season sale' for your reference.
Click on Done.
Now you can see that the preset discount for this bill will be automatically applied. Here the discount will be applied and amount will be reduced according to the discount applied.
Thus by following these simple steps you can set a preset discount without any confusion and easily enable the preset discount just by selecting the desired discount that you want to apply for each customers. This is a way of experiencing simplicity!
