How to do a Sales Return from the Sales Screen in RetailEasy7?

A Sales Bill is a document that contains information about a product purchased by a customer, as well as transferring ownership of the product to the customer. This assists in accounting and further promotional activities by storing the transactions that happened.

 

Purpose of Sales Return in RetailEasy7:

When the customer sends the product back to the seller in this situation Sales return can be used to revert the Sales bill. Customers can return an item for any reason, whether it is a quality issue or an additional product was delivered.

 

Benefits of Sales Return:

The following are the benefits of Sales return,

  • Customers will trust your business more if you take the sales products back once they discover that they are defective or under-quantified.

  • Easy addition of returns to inventory, replacement of transactions, and tax exemption will be updated automatically.

  • Instead of doing sales returns on the Sale Return screen, you can simply do them from the sales screen.

 

A Guide to doing Sales Return in Sales Screen in RetailEasy7?

 

Note: In order to enable Sales Return, we must first enable it in configuration. Once it has been enabled, it cannot be changed.

 


Step 1: Navigate to Tools -> Configuration -> Categorywise Configuration

 

 


Step 2:

  1. Click on One time Config.
  2. By pressing the spacebar, you can allow to do the return/exchange from the sales screen. If you agree with the terms and conditions, please press Yes, I agree and enable it. And, click save in Category settings.

 



 

 

 

Step 3: Navigate to Sales -> Sales Bill. Choose the product for Sale Return and click on SaleRtn (F3). Sales Return is now enabled in the Sales Bill Screen.

 

 

 

With this method, you can do a Sales Return from the Sales Screen and return the product without affecting the tax on the Sales Bill that was entered previously.
