Transfer-In feature is used when a stock has to be received at a particular location from another location. A transfer-out request will be initiated from the location from which the stock is to be taken. Then the location where the stock is needed will check the transfer-in and approve the request to receive the stock.
Benefits:
It facilitates easy transfer of the items that need to be stocked in the restaurant
As the inventory applicable items are only transferable from one location to another, the item inventory can be tracked easily
The transfer-In request will have the item name, the quantity, and its selling price, and hence, it is easy to track the number of items received
How to do Transfer-In?
Step 1:
After logging into ServQuick, on the home page, select Inventory --> Inventory Management --> Transfer-In.
Step 2:
Select the location where the stock is needed. It will show the list of all Transfer-out requests that were made for that location. Choose the request that is related to the stock needed for this location and click on Approve.
Step 3:
Once the approval is done, the transfer-in request has been created. The details of the Transfer-In can be viewed in Report --> Inventory --> Transfer-In Summary/Details.
Step 4:
In the reports, you can filter the date and view the report that is needed.
