How to do Email configuration in ServQuick?

Whenever you wish to share an invoice with a customer, you can just share it with them via cost-free email by using the Email Configuration feature in ServQuick. Using this feature, you can also avoid paper wastage as you don't have to print the invoice. This creates confidence between your business and customers which helps the customers know that you are loyal to them!


Benefits of Email configuration in ServQuick

  • Business owners can schedule a sales report, stock report, etc by configuring owners' email id and scheduling their desired time to receive the report using this feature.

  • You can also schedule different reports to be sent to your mail id at your desired time when you wish to check. You will get notified automatically so that you don't miss any reports.

  • Even if you are not available in the store, you can check the sales report without logging into the application.

 

Steps to do Email configuration in ServQuick

 

Step1: Go to Settings, under Configurations you can select elect Email Configurations

 

  

Step2: Enable the Use ServQuick server if you want the recipient to know that the mail was sent from the ServQuick server

 

Step3: Enter the required details like from email, sample mail content, in the Mail server settings

 

-->The From email field will be mapped default to Gofrugal mail id, which is gofrugal@gmail.com.

-->In the Sample mail content field, you can add the content that you want to share with the recipient. Example: 'Please find the attached document'.

-->After entering the details, click on Send test mail. 


Note: Before configuring the actual reports, and transaction you can do a test email to check whether the alignment, text, content etc are proper. If not you can check and clear it, then send it again. Also you can check if the sending/receiving is happening correctly or not.

 

  

Step4: Enter the recipient mail id in the pop-up box displayed and click on Done. After clicking on done, the test mail will be sent to the entered email id.

 

 

-->Now the email will be received by the recipient successfully from ServQuick server.

 

 

Step5: If you want to customize and send a mail to the recipient using your mail id, then disable the Use ServQuick server


Step6: Enter all the required details like SMTP server name, User name, Password, sample content field under the mail server settings.

  • In the SMTP server name, enter the server name as smtp.gmail.com. SMTP server is something which is used for file transfer, using which we are communicating the emails.

  • In the User name field, enter your mail id

  • In the Password field, enter your mail password

  • In the Sample mail content field, enter the content that you want to share with the recipient. Example: 'Please find the attached document'.

  • After entering all the details, click on Send test mail

 

Step7: Enter the recipient mail id in the pop-up box displayed and click on Done. After clicking on done, the test mail will be sent to the entered email id.

 

 

-->Now the test mail will be received from your mail id itself.

 

By using this feature, help the customers receive their invoices as quick as possible and don't make them wait. So that they can be happy of being a loyal customer to your business!
