How to do Kit Configuration in ServQuick?
The term KIT is nothing but the item type. A KIT is something that is manufactured with the required ingredients. In Servquick you can create the KIT item and configure the items that are part of the KIT as Ingredients.
Benefits:
Kit items help to configure the inventory items that give the detailed description of how many ingredients items are required in the preparation of a dish. Based on the prepared dishes or dishes yet to prepare you can track the quantity and cost of the ingredient items. Based on cost of the ingredient items you can determine the selling price of the product items. It is most important for planning the preparation.
Steps to do Kit Configuration in ServQuick
Step1: Go to Masters, under Preparation select Kit Configuration
Step2: Click on Add Kit
Step3: Enter all the required fields like, Kit Name, Variant, Configuration quantity, Selling Price, Ingredient Name
Choose the desired kit in the Kit Name field
Choose the Variant of the kit
Enter the Configuration quantity. It is nothing but the quantity of items that you can prepare.
Note: The Cost price field will be calculated automatically. It is nothing but the sum of cost of all the ingredients. Also, it is for pone quantity of kit item.
Enter the Selling Price of the kit item
Note: The selling price must be greater than the cost price.
Choose the desired Ingredient Name
Choose the Variant of the ingredient
Enter the Quantity of the ingredients
Note: According to the quantity of the ingredient, the cost price of the ingredient can be edited
Click on Add. Repeat the steps and add all the required ingredients
Click on Save and the Kit will be configured
-->Now the Kit will be configured successfully by following the simple steps.
