The kitchen setup feature is used when multiple brands/kitchens are managed under a single roof, and you have to configure a different setup for each kitchen. For example, if you have two separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian foods this feature can be used to print unique kitchen order tickets or receipts.
Benefits:
Customized receipts and KOTs can be printed for each kitchen
With a unique setup for each kitchen, there are hardly any chances for the orders to get misplaced
The category of items to be routed are mentioned in the kitchen setup, and it becomes easier to route specific orders to each kitchen, thereby reducing order processing time
How to add kitchen setup?
Step 1:
On the home page, click on Masters--> Kitchen Management --> Kitchen Setup.
Step 2:
Click on Add kitchen setup to create a new one.
Step 3:
Enter the name of the kitchen setup.
Step 4:
Enter the location of the kitchen and click on Apply.
Note: If the location is already mapped to another kitchen setup, then you will receive an alert that the existing kitchen setup for that location will be made inactive.
Step 5:
Enter the description of the kitchen setup.
Step 6:
In the Kitchen-Category mapping section, the categories that apply to the kitchen are entered. Select one or more categories based on kitchen requirements and click on Apply.
Step 7:
Now, click on save.
Now, you can create as many kitchen setups as needed to differentiate the kitchen order tickets using ServQuick.
