How to do Role Creation in ServQuick?


What is a Role?


The Role is a feature in ServQuick that indicates the access and permissions that can be given to people working in different departments. Waiter, Cashier, Admins, Steward are some examples of roles in a restaurant. For example, a cashier is given access only to the screen and functionalities related to the accounts ad billing.


How to create a Role?


Step 1:

On the main page of Servquick, Click on Settings.


 


Step 2:

In the Users and Permissions section, select Roles.


 


Step 3:

Now, you will be able to see the list of existing roles. If you want to create a new role, then click on Add role.


 


Step 4:

Now, enter the name of the role that you wish to create and add a relevant description.


 


Step 5:

After entering the name and description, you can choose the screen and functionalities that the role can access from the Menu section below. In the Options, you choose the access that you want to give and remove the unwanted access by unchecking them.


 


Step 6:

After filling in all the details, click on Save.


 


Step 7:

A success message is displayed on top and the newly created role is displayed in the list.


 

Thus, you can create as many roles as you want and grant/revoke their access or permissions just like a snap of your fingers.
