How to do Sales Return with Exchange in RetailEasy7?

A sales bill is used to record customer purchases. If the customer wishes to return the product and make a new purchase or cancel the transaction, a sales bill will be necessary to verify the price, the product, and the bill number.

 

Purpose of Sales Return with Exchange in RetailEasy7:

By using the Sales Return with Exchange, the customer can easily exchange a product, that has been returned due to a quality or quantity issue. The purchased amount will be credited to the customer's account, which can be used to purchase an item that has the same price or above by paying the extra amount.

 

Benefits of Sales Return with Exchange:

The following are the benefits of Sales Return with Exchange,

  • Sales Return Exchange will build trust in your brand and increase your credibility by eliminating customer worries about losing money with the wrong products.

  • Customers may return some items, but these can easily be replaced with other items, allowing them to choose more products.

  • When product transactions are changing, the inventory is automatically updated based on the exchanged products, giving you a full view of your inventory on the go. 


A Guide to perform Sales Return with Exchange in RetailEasy7?

Step 1: Navigate to Sales -> Sales Return.

 


 

Step 2:

  1. On the Sales Return Screen, enter the sales bill number to load the required sales Bill.

  2. By selecting the product with the space bar and clicking save, you can file the Sales Return Exchange.

 

 




Step 3:

  • Customers who wish to receive cash for their product, select the cash option.

  • When a customer wants to exchange their product items, choose RRN (Return Redemption Note) which will adjust the returned amount on their next bill.

  • Click on save to continue and make note of the Sales Return number.


 


Step 4: Now navigate to Sales -> Sales Bill and load the new products which the customer wishes to exchange. In the Tender type choose RRN and enter the Sales Return number generated and click save to proceed with the new Sales Bill.

 

 

Using this method, you can easily handle Sales Returns with exchanges where your customers' products will be replaced and your brand will be more respected in their eyes since they will be able to choose more options than before

 

Note: You must enter the bill number associated with GST returns in order to comply with GST regulations.
