How to do Stock Transfer from one location to Another?

When do we do Stock transfers between locations?

Whenever some item is out of stock and we need to refill the stock, then a Transfer Out request can be initiated. Transfer Out request can be raised only for the inventory applicable enabled items. An item that is once created cannot be edited or canceled. For example, if I'm not going to sell Egg Wrap anymore, then I can disable the inventory applicable option. If I want to know the available stock for the vegetables, sugar, etc. then you can enable inventory applicable.

How to use the Transfer Out feature?

Step 1:

After logging into ServQuick, select Transfer Out in the Inventory Management section in the Inventory tab.

Step 2:

Now, In Transfer Out, select Add Transfer Out option.

Step 3:

Enter the From and To Location. The From location indicates the location from where the stock is to be transferred. To location refers the place where the stock is needed.

Step 4:
  • Enter the EAN code of the item. To know more about the EAN code, refer to EAN Code.

  • Enter the item name from the list shown. The list shows the item name and the number of items that are available for transfer.

  • Once the item is selected, a pop-up is displayed for choosing its variant (Regular, large). If there is only one variant, then that is automatically entered in the variant section, along with the available stock and its unit.

  • You can enter the quantity of that item that you will be transferring in Transfer Qty.

  • Selling refers to the amount of that item.

  • The selling amount refers to the overall price for the transfer items.

Step 5:

After entering all the details, click on add.

Step 6:

Now, you have added one item that has to be transferred. You can make your changes to the added item by selecting Edit.

Step 7:

To add more items, you can follow the same process from Step 4 to Step 6.

Step 8:

After adding all the items that need to be transferred, click on save.

Step 9:

Now, a transfer out request is initiated and you will get a success message.

Step 10:

Now, this can be viewed in Reports --> Inventory ---> Transfer Out Details.

Step 11:

In Transfer Out details you can filter it to today's date to view the transfer initiated today and click on Apply.
