KOT (Kitchen Order Ticket) is the receipt containing the order details of the customer. The KOT is generated and given to the kitchen for processing the order. Whenever any changes are to be made or the order has to be canceled, the Edit/Cancel of KOT can be done.
Benefits:
It allows the users to edit their orders and add or remove items from their orders
Whenever an order is placed by mistake, the cancel KOT feature can be availed to cancel the orders
The item quantity, variant, and new items can be added using the edit KOT feature in ServQuick
How to edit/cancel KOT?
Step 1:
On the home screen, go to Sales--> Sales.
Step 2:
In the Sales screen, Click on Table.
Step 3:
Select the table for which you wish to edit/cancel the order.
Step 4:
To add items to the table order, you can click on the '+' symbol.
You will be redirected to the sales screen. Select the items you wish to add to the table and click on Proceed to Kitchen.
Step 5:
If you wish to edit/cancel a KOT, click on the desired order. The items which you want to edit/cancel will be listed down. To the right of the item name, you will find options to edit/cancel it.
Step 6:
You can click on Edit to make the changes to quantity or variants of that item and click on Proceed to Kitchen to save changes to your order.
Step 7:
To cancel the KOT, you can click on cancel and enter the reason for cancelation and click on confirm.
Thus, you can add, edit and cancel your orders for any table whenever required using ServQuick.
