How to make entering MRP for PO items by GRN pickers mandatory in GoSure GRN (in RetailEasy7)?


The GRN Managers have the authority to enable or restrict GRN pickers from executing important actions that will affect smooth operations. Having said the above, the GRN managers can use the Configuration menu in GRN web-app, to have control over the actions of GRN pickers and one such configuration that the GRN Managers can use to control the GRN pickers while making the GIN is this configuration.

 

Benefits of Enable MRP mandatorily for PO items:


By enabling this configuration in the GRN web-app, the GRN picker not be able to submit the GIN without entering the MRP of the item.

 

How to make entering MRP for PO items mandatory in GoSure (in RetailEasy7) ?

 

Pre-requisite: Enable "Enter MRP mandatorily for PO items" in GRN web-app

 


Example: Consider a scenario, where we are filtering the PO items from Alankar Agencies and selecting the PO No.2 from the supplier. The list of PO items from the supplier for the selected PO will be displayed. For these items, MRP should be entered mandatorily in mobile by the GRN pickers while making GIN.

 

Step 1: In the GoSure app, select 'GRN' from the menu and enter the details of supplier, by clicking on "+Supplier Details".


Step 2: After scanning the barcode of PO items or entering the item code manually, it will take you to the Details screen where you can see the Stock scanned, Available stock, Free Qty, MRP Rs., Cost Rs. fields. You will not be able to click on "Scan Done" until you enter value in the "MRP in Rs." field.

 


NOTE: if the configuration "Enter MRP mandatorily for PO items" is disabled in GRN web-app, you will be able to click on "Scan Done" and submit GIN without entering value in the "MRP in Rs." field

 


Conclusion:

Using this configuration, the GRN Manager can make the GRN pickers to make GIN by entering the MRP of PO items mandatorily.
