How to map Steward with the Waiters and tables in ServQuick?
A steward is a person who is in charge of all dining operations in a restaurant or hotel dining room while a waiter takes orders and delivers food to customers. If you want to map a waiter and table to a steward you can use this steward binding feature and update the mapping.
Benefits:
Using this feature you can map the tables with stewards. During peak hours, your stewards might get confused, about which table they should take care of. This mapping avoids such confusion and maintains serving accuracy. So, they can take care of the tables that they are responsible for without any perplexity and serve the customers a delightful experience!
Steps to map Steward with the Waiters and tables in ServQuick
Step1: Go to Settings
Step2: Under the Users and Permissions, click on Steward Binding Option
--> The list of Steward Users will be displayed.
Click on the Edit option in the Steward that you wish to map
In the tables list, the list of tables created will be displayed in order. Here you can map multiple waiters and tables to a single steward.
Select the number of tables you want to map to the steward
Select the number of waiters you want to map to the steward
Click on the Update option
-->Now you have mapped the waiter and table with the steward successfully.
Note: You can map multiple tables and waiters to a single steward.
Step3: After mapping the tables, click on Apply
Step4: After mapping the waiters, click on Apply
Step5: After mapping the tables and waiters to a steward, click on Update
-->A message pops up as updated successfully!
Note: Before mapping the stewards, you must create user roles like Stewards and Waiters in ServQuick.
