How to print Function Field in GoBill?

What is Function Field?

 

Function Field uses two or more fields that can be combined into one field by the user using the available 'operators', such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

 

Example

 

Consider, in a textile shop, the fabric is sold in meters (based on length). It costs 100 rupees to buy a meter of cloth there. However, if the consumer only wants 0.25 meters at this location, you can create a Function Field using operators that multiplies both the meter and the price (0.25 meters * 100 rupees) and prints the result (25 rupees) automatically in the bill.

How to configure Function Field?

  • Initially you can print the desired Function Fields on bills created in POS by designing it in Easy print designer

How to get Function Field on bills created in GoBill?

 

Using the print Function Fields, GoBill windows printing functionality has been improved to become more customized. Following the steps given below to print Function Field on bills created in GoBill.

  • In 'print designer' enable "GoBill & SellQuick Supported profile" on profile setting

 

 

  • In design area right click and choose 'Create Function Field' and create a Function Field as per your need. For more help, you can also refer to this video

Note: You can customize your fields using a variety of operators to be printed on bill and make your bills more customized.

  • Now the newly created Function Field will be added to the design

 

How to Create Function Field Merge?

  • You can print two Function Fields together using the Create Function Field Merge option

  • By using the Merge Function, an uneven alignment between two fields that must be printed together is avoided

  • Right click on the design area and select Create Function Field Merge option

  • Now create two Function Field and merge them by adding them in Collection Field

Thus, by following these steps, you can print two Function Fields merged together in print design and have them printed on GoBill receipts.

 

Note: You must perform incremental sync in GoBill windows, to get your function filed created in easy print designer tool.
