How to Quick add Customers from the Sales Bill, Quotation or Order screens in RetailEasy on-cloud?

RetailEasy on-cloud has the feature to add customers during billing. Customer details can be directly saved from the Sales Bill, Sales Quotation, and Sales Order screens with direct Keyboard shortcuts.

 

Benefits of the Quick add feature to add Customers:

The Quick add feature keeps you away from losing a single customer contact detail even from a rushing queue. From the Customer Quick add screen, we can add customers directly into categories, we can add a separate shipping address, and much more with RetailEasy on-cloud.

 

How to Quick add Customers?

Note: To Quick add Customers, one should be on the Sales Bill screen.

 

Step 1: On the Sales Bill screen, before entering any customer detail press Shift + F3, and the Customer Quick add screen Pops-up.

 

 

Step 2: If the Customer's address and the shipping address are the same, tick the check box-Same Address for Shipping, RetailEasy on-cloud automatically saves the address as the shipping address. Else, proceed without ticking the check box and enter the shipping address manually.

 

Step 3:

  • Enter the Name, Address, Pin, Mobile, Email ID of the customer.

  • Select the Customer Type from the drop-down.

  • Select the State Code. The State Code is mandatory for the GST calculations.

  • Enter the GST No., PAN No., Gender of the customer.

  • Enter the GST Type of the customer

  • Regular: In the regular GST Type the item-specific tax rates, fixed by the government is collected from the customers of your store

  • Composite: In the composite GST Type the tax rates are not item-specific, it is uniform and not collected from the customers and paid by the retailers

  • UnRegister: In the composite GST Type the retailer is not registered and does not owe GST to the government

 

Step 4: Click on OK to proceed

 

Step 5: The Customer details will automatically appear on the Sales Bill. After completing the entries on the Sales Bill and saving it, the Customer details will be saved to your RetailEasy on-cloud domain.

 

Note: The same Quick add Customer screen can be obtained over Sales Order, Sales Quotation, and Delivery Note screens using the Keys: Shift + F4 and save the Sales Order or Sales Quotation or Delivery Note in order to add the Customer details to your domain.

 

Thus, RetailEasy on-cloud doesn't spare a chance to miss out on a customer's details and values each of your customer. Using the Quick add feature, every customer detail from GST Type to Shipping address can be saved.
