How to send SMS and App notifications to your app users

How to receive SMS notifications for app events & how to configure the integration portal for the notification feature?

Due to many obvious reasons, a shop owner can't be constantly in front of the system.  This can result in a delay in processing an online order on-time or missing it completely.


Now with OrderEasy, you can send POS notifications as well as SMS notifications to shop owners (or the person who is processing online orders) for selective events. It will help the business owners to be updated on all their online orders, acknowledge & process these orders on time and get the notifications for Order status & new customer registration.


Admin: On this screen, you can configure the SMS & Push notifications to be sent to the shop owner (or the person who is processing online orders).


 

The Mobile Notification tab will view the default push notification templates of all the events & The SMS Notification tab will view the default SMS notification of all the events. Click on the 'Edit' button on the right side if you want to customize the content template of the notification.



In the appeared window, click on the 'Customized Content' option. It will allow you to type in the customized notification template in the content box below using the 'Dynamic Keys'. Then click on the 'Save Change' button at the bottom. You can see its live preview on the right side of your screen.




Setting: As its name suggests we do settings for our 'Notification' menu here. Here you configure your integration portal for sending out the SMS & Mobile App notifications.




i) SMS CONFIGURATION:
In this tab, you can configure SMS notifications. Enter your 'GOFRUGAL Alert portal user-id' or your 3rd party SMS portal id in the "Email id" text box. The "Validity" & "SMS count" will automatically fetch from the SMS portal & will be shown in their respective text boxes. And then click on the 'Configure' button. If you want to change the SMS portal id, in case it is already configured. Click on the 'DeConfigure' button to undo the current settings & configure the new one again.






ii) ADMIN CONTACT INFORMATION:

In this tab, provide the admin details. admin is nothing but a person from the shop to whom the App notifications will be sent. So that in case if he is not near the system he will receive notification & know that new order is received.




i) Mobile number(s): Enter the mobile number of the admin person to whom the SMS notifications are to be sent. You can also enter multiple contact numbers separating them with a comma.

ii) E-Mail id(s): Enter the email address of the admin here. You can also enter multiple email ids separating them with a comma.


Then click on the "Save" button to save the settings.

Note: You also receive a voice notification on your desktop upon receiving a new order.
