Receipts are printed or emailed whenever there is a sale made. If manual receipts are needed, the print receipt feature is utilized. If the customer wants the softcopy, you can send receipts using the email receipt feature.
Benefits of Email Receipts:
Instead of printing the receipts, a softcopy of the receipt will remain safe in the mailbox and can be referred to anytime later
As they are the proof of financial transaction, email receipt generation is more convenient, and faster than manual printed receipts.
How to send Email receipts?
Step 1:
Before sending email receipts, you will have to enable the email configuration. To enable, go to Settings --> Configuration --> Receipt Configurations.
Step 2:
In Receipt Configurations, enable the Enable Email Receipt and click on Save.
Step 3:
On the home page, click on Sales --> Receipts.
Step 4:
A list of all receipts will be shown. Select the desired receipt.
Step 5:
After selecting the receipt, click on Receipt --> Email Receipt.
Note: Only receipts can be emailed and not kitchen order tickets.
Step 6:
Enter the mail id to which the receipt has to be mailed and click on Done.
Step 7:
Now, you will receive a message that the email has been sent successfully.
Likewise, you can easily email the receipt if the customer wants a softcopy of the receipt using ServQuick.
