How to configure GoFrugal GoSure- GRN app 

 

Description:

'GoFrugal GoSure- GRN app' is an application for effective goods receiving process, doing purchase entries from anywhere and reconciling discrepancies between purchase order(PO), GRN, and purchase invoice.

  •  GoSure - GRN has
      1) mobile application  - For
    'scanning and receiving goods'
      2) web application      - For 
    'purchase entry'
  • GRN app has two roles
     1) GRN picker
     2) GRN manager
NOTE :
  1.  GRN picker will have access to the mobile app using which user can scan and receive items
  2.  GRN manager will have access to web application using which 'Purchase entry' can be done and reconciling mismatches can be done

 

Recommendation:

It is recommended to map low-level employee users with GRN picker role and map 'GRN Manager' role to top-level users like admin (owners) and managers of the store.


Pre-requisites:

  • Make sure that GoFrugal RPOS6.5 has been updated to the version 6.5.8.9 SP 18 and above

  • Make sure you have valid ALR

  • Make sure that 'Smart reports' is running and has been updated to the version 5228.0 and above

 

Follow the below steps to configure the application: 

Step 1: To activate the trial license,

  • Go to Help -> About

  • Click on 'Add-on license' to enable/activate trial license for users

  • Click on 'Try & Buy' button near GoFrugal InStock

  • Click on 'sync button'. You will note that trial license is activated for 7 days. Click close button.

Note: For first-time license activation or if the license is not yet activated, in place of "Buy" it will be "Try & Buy". 

 

Step 2: 

  • Go to Tools -> Configuration Manager -> Configuration

  • Select 'Inventory' and click on 'Physical Stock'

  • Select 'Schedule Generation Category for InStock' and click on the 'F2' button

  • Select any one category [Note: Type, Product type, Brand etc are inventory categories] and click on 'Save'

Step 3: Mapping RPOS6 users to InStock roles

  • Click on Tools -> Security Controller -> Security Manager

  • Select the required user for role mapping

  • Make sure mobile number and Email are given

  • Click on User 'Type - InStock'

  • In the drop-down, you will find multiple roles.

  • Select the role GRN picker or GRN manager for the user. [Note that you can also map both the roles to single user itself]

  • After mapping roles, click 'Save'

  • Similarly, you can add more users

  • Restart RPOS6.5

 

" Congratulations! You have activated GoSure- GRN app trial license. "
